Why bid

  • The work is Severnmoor’s core trade, at a size an SME can serve well; the notice marks the lot suitable for SMEs Notice; Spec 2.2
  • It can pass every gate. The one hard gap, public liability cover, can be met by a commitment before award RT1 Q17
  • 55 of the 100 quality points (Q1, 2c, 2d) reward local resourcing and response times, which a nearby depot supports ITT 5.9

Why be careful

  • Spend has averaged about £36,000 a year inc VAT; the framework is non-exclusive with no volume guarantee, and QW can end it on three months’ notice Spec 2.2; T&Cs 15.1, 32.2
  • An existing supplier is in place; one provider’s own engineers did 23 of the 30 typical jobs listed Spec 3.4; Annex A

Conditions, by Friday 20 November

What you can hold me to

The first step is free
A bid/no-bid memo and a compliance matrix on one live tender, within 24 hours of having the full pack. No obligation.
Nothing is invented
Where a fact is missing, the draft marks it for you to fill. No case study, figure or name goes in unless it came from you.
Example from our sample answer: the facts you confirm (fictional supplier)
  • F1Two helpdesk coordinators cover 07:00–19:00 on weekdays
  • F2The duty supervisor is a qualified electrician on a weekly rota
  • F314 directly employed engineers
  • F4Nine live within 35 minutes’ drive of the site
  • F5The depot is about 25 minutes from the site
  • F6Six engineers on call each week, by the trades listed
  • F7The water hygiene partner is an LCA member (certificate needed)
  • F8The CAFM system blocks job start until RAMS are acknowledged
  • F5 to F8: the depot, the on-call pool, the water hygiene partner and the maintenance system
You approve every claim
Each draft comes with a claims table. The final file follows only once you have confirmed or corrected every claim.
An NDA comes first
A mutual NDA and a data processing agreement before any document is shared. Files are deleted 30 days after the deadline.
A full refund before kick-off
Cancel before the kick-off call and the fee is refunded in full. A Red-Team fee counts towards a pack ordered within 30 days.

Start with a free memo

Free. One to two pages on a live tender you are considering, with a compliance matrix: the pass/fail gates, the weightings, the word limits, the social value ask and an honest bid/no-bid call. Within 24 hours of having the full pack.

Then a Bid Red-Team of your draft

£395. We mark your draft against the buyer’s own marking scheme: a score for each answer and a redline, in two working days. The fee counts towards a Deadline Pack ordered within 30 days.

Or the whole response

From £695. A Deadline Pack: every quality and social value answer drafted and cut to the word limits, with a self-score and one round of revisions, delivered five working days before the deadline.

Or a monthly seat

£1,750 a month. The Interim Bid Writer seat: matched tenders each week with memos, up to 15,000 finished words a month, an answer library and a weekly call.

For UK limited companies and LLPs that bid for public contracts. No win guarantee and no success fee. You fact-check every claim, set the price and submit. Who it is for

How a Deadline Pack runs

Four steps, counted back in UK working days from the date the portal closes (D). Put in your own deadline to see the real dates.

A Standard pack needs ordering 15 working days before the deadline.

  1. Order and kick-off

Pay, accept the terms and sign the NDA. A 45-minute kick-off call follows on , with the compliance matrix and an evidence list.

  2. Your inputs arrive

Case studies, CVs, policies, certificates and anything else the matrix asks for. The delivery date depends on this one.

  3. Draft and fact-check

The full draft with a claims table. You confirm or correct every factual claim by ; anything that could not be verified is marked for you to fill.

  4. Revise and deliver

One round of revisions, then the final Word document, portal-ready text and a submission checklist. You price, sign and submit.

Dates for a Standard pack. They skip weekends and the buyer’s bank holidays. If inputs arrive late, delivery moves back by the same number of working days. If the buyer changes the deadline, we agree new dates with you at no extra cost.

Questions

Do you use AI to write the bids?

Yes. Drafting uses AI tools, working from your tender pack, your documents and the kick-off call. Nothing is invented: where a fact is missing, the draft marks it for you to fill. You check and approve every claim before anything is submitted, and you get a short note on how the work was produced, in case the buyer asks. How AI is used

You are in India. Does that matter?

I’d rather you heard it from me. I take calls on Google Meet from 12pm to 5pm UK time, Monday to Friday, every date is agreed in writing, and invoices are in pounds. The work is reading your tender and writing to its marking scheme, which does not depend on where I sit. The free memo lets you test that first.

Can you promise we will win?

No. Bids are scored against other bids, and on your price, so nobody can honestly promise a win. There is no success fee either way. What I commit to is the work: every answer drafted to the marking scheme and word limit, and delivery on the agreed date if your inputs arrive on time.

How are our documents handled?

Under an NDA, in a folder you control. Personal data is kept to what the bid needs, nothing is reused for another client, and files are deleted 30 days after the tender deadline unless you ask in writing for an answer library to be kept. Data handling

Is VAT added, and when do we pay?

No VAT is added to my invoices. Because the service is supplied from outside the UK, your finance team may need to account for VAT under the reverse charge; your accountant can confirm. Every order is paid in full before work starts, against a proper invoice, and a cancellation before the kick-off call is refunded in full. For your finance team
